I read a blog this morning that really got me thinking about everything that has happened in New Orleans with the hurricane and the utter chaos that followed in its aftermath. My USA government failed in so many ways. That's a hard word FAILED, but none the less it the truth. When help was offered, it was often met with resistance or down-right turned away. I just wonder how many lives would of been saved if.....1. The local government would of helped those quicker to get out...Like BEFORE the hurricane arrived.....2. If help was not turned away when offered....3. If the local government would of somehow reinforced the levy before it broke....(Don't tell me that they did not know it would happen....Any fool can tell that the levy would of never withheld a hurricane)...This list could go on but I don't have the luxury of time....
