I did not sleep much last night. This cold I do believe has the best of me, so I am staying home from work today. I am sure I will hear about it when I go in tomorrow night to set the ad.

A bit of sad news yesterday. My Aunt Elizabeth passed away. She was over 90 years old. I think mom is taking the news a bit hard. I guess they will be having some sort of memorial service for her next month.

Well I am off to see if I can get a little more sleep. Wish me luck!

Not feeling very well this morning. I have a sore throat and a fever. I really should be gargling with salt water right now but yuck.

I did stay up to watch idol last night. I think again that Katherine did the best job, and that Kelly and Talor did the worst. We shall see tonight.

At work today I should be able to find out what my reward is for everything that took place at the beginning of the year. I am hoping its more than $500.00 but I am not holding my breathe. I was told at first that it would be as little as $250.00 but I reminded them that 2 people got fired.

I tried to find a clip a could put on this blog about Walmart but alas I could not find what I was looking for. Apparently the Walmart in the Michigan area has been fined over 1 million dollars for not having their products marked. Michigan has a new law that is in effect that all items in a store need to be clearly marked. That's why I worked so much overtime a few weeks ago...marking stuff in our store. To say the least I am not a bit upset that Walmart got the fine! Anyone who knows me knows that I dislike the place immensely!

Quiet weekend. I took Matthew and Emily to the park on Sat. for a picnic lunch and for PLAY! We had a great time. The weather was very sunny and warm. Went to Corrines for dinner. We both needed time to bitch about things at work. While I was there Dave called her back. She was happy to hear from him. On Sunday all I did was went to church and then came back home to relax! Just a few more weeks of this till I am on vacation again!

TGIF! It has been one long week. I am happy it is over (almost) and more happy that I am not going in tomorrow night to set the ad. I am pretty sure that Qynn was pissed at me most of the day for taking down her display, but the one in the mens/boys department was HIDEOUS!! Oh well. I am finding out next week it looks like what my amount of my reward is going to be for that whole mess I was dealing with earlier this year. I am hoping its going to something more than $250.00. Since 2 of them got fired I am hoping that whatever the award is, that it is times 2! We shall have to wait and see.
Not doing much this weekend. Just plan on relaxing some.

On Idol last night Ace got voted off. I could hardly believe that Kelly was not in the bottom 3. I wanted Paris to be gone when I saw who was in the bottom 3. Next week it looks like they will be singing love songs with Andrea Bocolli as their coach.

Class night night went fairly well. I gave them a test to see how much knowledge that they have retained this year. I almost busted a gut when Trais wrote that Fr Loc became a Catholic this past weekend. He apparently forgot that we JUST had congratulated Alivia. After class I had a parent come back into the classroom and he informed that he and his wife wanted to donate the pizza for our pizza party next week. I was so surprised. :)

Ok its Wednesday morning!!!!So....what does that mean???? Its my American Idol update!!! Ok here is my scoop. The 2 people that I think are going to be in the bottom 2 are Elliot and Kelly. Kelly is my favorite to win but last night she stunk with her song. Katherine who I normally cannot stand did a awesome rendition of "Someone to watch over me" and Chris blew me away with "What a wonderful world". I think they are going to be the top 2. Paris who the judges thought did a "ok" job, I did not like at all but I am not sure about the rest of the world so that's why I left her out of the bottom 2. We shall see tonight.

Tuesday 264

I have not written in a few days. Its been pretty hetic. On Friday night I had the kids over night. Matthew promptly woke up at 3 am and puked in my bed. YUCK!! We all went to the egg hunt on Saturday morning. The kids had a blast. Saturday afternoon I got out to my car and it would not start again. I was so upset. Here I thought the problem was taken care of and apparently it was not. I had to spend another 80 buck yesterday to have it repaired. I was not and am still not happy camper about that one.
I do have lots to tell about Saturday night when Morgan got baptized, but right now I am running out of time so I will update again when I get home.

Friday 260

Mass went fairly well last night. I was a bit nervous singing the blessing of the oils song, but all in all it was good. Today is going to be the real test. I will be doing all my singing today with no piano/organ backing me up. Yikes you will be able to hear all my sharp and flat notes! I will just have to keep praying to the Holy Spirit to guide my voice.

Tonight Matthew and Emily are coming over to spend the night! We are going to color some Easter eggs, and then once they are asleep the Easter Bunny is coming for a early visit :)

Thursday 259

Up and awake this morning. Class went fairly well, although it seemed rushed as we were trying to get a lot in before the fire drill.

Came home from class and of course watched American Idol. I think that the wrong person was voted of last night. I think Paris or Elliot, or Ace should of went not Bucky. Oh well. Next week they will be doing songs of Rod Stewart!

Wednesday 258

Ok...American Idol last night. They were singing the songs of Queen. I thought before they song that everyone was going to have a rough time of it. I was proved wrong. It all started off on a good note with Bucky singing"Fat bottomed girls". Kelly did a version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" that was killer. Even Talor did "Crazy lil thing called love" which fit him to a tee. Paris, Chris, and Ace were "ok" but I did not like Katherine at all again. We shall see tonight!

Tuesday 257

Work was very busy yesterday. It seemed that anything that could go wrong did. I had to make about 50 signs for the fashion department and the computer for the sign machine kept going offline. Then when I got everything into the computer, the printer wanted to screw everything up. It seemed that Monday was NOT a good day for me to be using the computer.
Today Corrine wants to go shopping together to find a dress for Saturday night. I really hope it does not take too long.

Monday 256

Busy weekend. Saturday I went out and found some new clothes for Easter. I was dreading doing it at the time as I could not afford much, but Marilyn and I did wind up having fun. Went into work that night and left feeling very angry with people. I go into work on Saturday night to HELP out the store by getting my ad set and what do I get? Nothing but bitching and whining from a certain cashier because it makes her life difficult when they have to do a price adjustment. She was so rude to me that she was throwing my items into the grocery bag!
Sunday I went to mass and then had to practice for this coming Saturday night Easter vigil service. Then I was off to babysit moms and dads new dog "goose". So all in all it was a pretty busy weekend.

Well my car is fixed they think. At first they could not find anything wrong with it, but when it kept idling high it made the engine hotter and then it would not start for them. They replaced a air intake motor and they think that fixed the problem. All this to the tune of $300.00. YUCK!!

Thursday 252

I got out to my car yesterday after work and it would not start. I think its the battery but I am not too sure. Its at the mechanics now being looked at. I really do hate being without a vehicle. One cool thing came of this. Dana from work offered to pay to have my car towed to the mechanic. I went back into the store to get approval to have my checked cashed so I could pay the tow guy and she said don't worry I got you covered. Wow even when I am feeling pretty low, God sends someone in my life to brighten it some.

Worked very hard yesterday. I got what I wanted to get done :). Came home made some dinner and then took a short nap so I would not be so tired watching AMERICAN IDOL. Ok now on to what I thought of the show. Taylor who normally is excellent STUNK. I think its going to be between Paris and him for the final two tonight.

It was a pretty stressfull day yesterday. There was just not enough people in the fashion area. I felt like I was being pulled in 50 directions. Believe me I was very happy to be going home. I hope today is not like that. I have a ton of planograms that need my attention.

Monday 248

Very busy weekend. Had the kids Friday and then Saturday took them to go see a move. Went back to work Saturday night to set the ad. I got home around 11:30 and then was up by 6:00am so I could cantor 2 masses yesterday. Spent all of yesterday after mass at Marliyns house waiting for Chris and the kids to come over. I wish I was on vacation this week so I could spend some time with all of them.
