Sunday 341

Its very hot outside right now for this time of night. Its almost 11:30pm and its still 75 degrees outside. We just got back from the Whitecaps ball game. Matthew and Emily are sound asleep. The air is "dark" and "heavy" but there is a breeze that is blowing. I am such a sucker for fresh air. I immediately opened up the door leading to the patio and its hot but the breeze feels so good. We had such a busy and full day again today. Marilyn did not talk about her health issues at all I think she is still in sort sort of denial over the whole thing.
Got up this morning at 7am thanked the good Lord for another glorious day. I had to smile looking over at a sleeping Emily who was all snuggled up under my blankets. She had woke up at 3am scared of shadows and asked if I would cuddle her to sleep and of course me being the BEST aunt in the world did so. I then came in the other room to see if Matthew was still sleeping and he was just waking up and asked if I would watch cartoons with him. So I did. :) I gave him a bit of breakfast and then very slowly started to wake up Miss Emily. She is NOT a morning person and does not like to be woken up, but I had to so we all could go to Church together. They were so well behaved in Church. I was astonished to learn that Matthew knows a prayer that I have been trying to teach to the 3rd grade class. I asked him how he knew it and he said that his Momma and Daddy said that Jesus loves to hear many prayers and they taught him that one. It goes to show you what GREAT parents they are. I am not by any means saying the parents in my class are "bad" they just might not have the religious "foundations" that Marilyn and Mike have. I was stopped by many people after mass with them commetting on how well behaved that they were. I cannot take any credit for that either, but it sure does make me proud of them.
