Tuesday 99

Happy Halloween everyone! I love this time of year. It is so much fun seeing the delight on all the little kids faces. I had thought about dressing up this year when I went to work but I decided against it. I will be going over to Mikes and Mers house after work and help the kids get ready with their costumes. Matthew is going as a Zombie, and Emily is going to be a light up princess. Hmm maybe I should go as a princess to work being that I am the Jewlery Princess :)

Wednesday 93

So I woke up this morning in a panic. I have class tonight and I am leading the prayer service. I completly forgot about that I was to carve a pumpkin for tonights prayer service. YIKES! So I went out at 4:30 this morning and got a pumpkin and carved it too. It does not look half bad for being a rushed job. At least its done. Lets just hope that the rest of the day is not as wacky!

Tuesday 92

Its hard to believe that I am finally all caught up on the work that needed to get done. I finished up yesterday late afternoon. Now its time to concentrate on the clearance and getting more of it out. I am going to have to find out if there is a printer available today as the pricing team once again has not got my price changes done and I need the space where the old product is.

After work we are having a belated Birthday Party for Matthew. He wanted to have a party at McDonalds and this was the date that was the closet to his.

Monday 91

Well it looks like Claudia got to keep her job at Meijer. She will not be working in the fashion dept. which is a plus for me. Lets just hope she keeps to herself and not try to cause anymore damage than she allready has.

Friday 88

YAWN!! I am way too tired this morning. I stayed up much too late last night to see who would win the baseball game. I think I finally fell asleep around 11:30pm. When I woke up I found out that the Cardinals won! I think that the Tigers have an excellant chance of winning against them in the world series!

Well today its been 1 week since the incident at the Jewelry counter. So far I have not seen Claudia back to work so maybe the rumors are true and that Pam did fire her. Like I said at work yesterday I would never gloat in someones misfortune EXCEPT Claudia really deserve what was coming to her.

Thursday 87

Do you ever have that feeling that no matter what you do you will never be caught up with everything that needs to be done? Thats exactly how I feel this morning. I know as sure as I am sitting here that no one did anything yesterday while I was gone, so right now I am trying to mentally prepare myself for a tone of work. I am not too sure right now but I think someone got fired for the little incident we had last friday. We shall find out more today.

Tuesday 85

Finally I got a good night sleep last night, and I am a little more hopefull this morning. I still have a lot of things to catch up on at work, but now with everything that has happened in the past few days I will be able to get some reliable people to help me.
I took tommorrow off so I could go to Ruthies memorial service. There is going to to a ton of people there.

Monday 84

Well I still cannot believe what happened on Friday. Claudia and I had our "little" dispute, but Claudia wound up hitting someone. Now when I say hit, I really ment she pushed Privinas arm away. I know that is not hitting, but that is what Meijer is calling it. I was dimissed to go home, being it was the end of my shift. Claudia on the other hand got suspended I do believe. Serves her right. Anyone who treats another person the way I have been treated by her needs to be knocked down a few pegs or so.

Friday 81

Its gonna be another very busy day. I have enough work to keep me busy for all of the 8 hours in Jewelry today. After work a bunch of us are getting together to go to the Lowell football game. Don't ask me why, it just sounded like fun. :)

Thursday 80

Feeling much better this morning. The pain has almost subsided to nothing,which is a very good thing. Yesterday was a LONG day. Not only was I dealing with issues at work, I also had to play catch up on everything that did not get done on Tuesday. I still will be playing catch up today as they delivered a lot of stuff just before I went home yesterday and I have my last tele-conference meeting.

On a pleasant note. 7 years ago today had to be one of my best days ever. Matthew was born 7 years ago today. He is such a blessing in my life. No one could ask for a better nephew! Happy Birthday Buddy!!!

Wednesday 79

Feeling a little better this morning. I still have a little blood in my urine but I am in not as nearly as much pain as I was in yesterday.

I am going to have a ton of stuff to get caught up on this morning. I know as sure as I am sitting here that nothing got done yesterday.

Today is going to be one long day. We have the re-set that is starting today in Jewelry and on top of all that, the whole store is dealing with the sudden death of Ruthie. It is hard to believe that she is gone.

Friday 74

Its finally Friday! I am going to be very busy today getting some of the new items set, and then the vendor is coming on Monday to help with the rest of the set. The new items are a lot more expensive, they make the area look like a more "upscale" Jewelry department.
I am still seeing "funny" things happening at the jewelry counter. Someone keeps leaving cases unlocked and then yesterday I found where someone has been hiding some watches. We will have to keep our eye out on that one.

Thursday 73

Yesterday the internet was down so I could not leave any blog, but happily today its back up again.

I felt like a child the night before Christmas yesterday. All of my new Jewelry came in, but I could not see any of it because it came in a day early and we did not have the proper people in the store to check it in. It all got locked up in Pams' office. I did take a quick peek to see how much "stuff" it was and I was blown away as her office is nearly filled with over $102,000 worth of Jewelry! Today I have to go to another meeting and then I will start working on getting it out!

Tuesday 71

Yesterday was a very crappy day at work. Not only did I not feel well, but Privina thought it was more important for people to do other things than to help me out at the Jewelry counter. Apparently she did ask Claudia to help out at one point at time, but she did not follow through to make sure that anything got done, so I came into a MESS. No stock was put away at all, notes for me all over the place to take care of the mess and that I should not be leaving work until I make sure that everything is 100%. I could of screamed. I have so much MORE work waiting for me there today, and I feel sicker today than yesterday. ARGGGGG

Monday 70

I feel as like I caught Marilyns cold. My head and chest are very congested. I don't want to go to work, but I will as I am not running a fever and there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. I so want to crawl back into bed, but I guess we will see as the day progresses.

Sunday 69

Today was a sad day. Today I said goodbye to a good friend of 21 years. It is hard to believe that she is moving so far away. Her name is Anna and she is/was one of the best music directors I have ever had the foutune of working with. She was more than a director, she was a friend. She was there for me when there was a crisis in the family. She was there when Nathan died, and when Mark died. She was never without a smile. I had a hard time looking at her today while she was trying to direct us. She was crying and the more she cried, the more I cried. I cannot go on enough about her. :) She was there for me when I got sick with my kidney problems and now she is having kidney problems also so she wanted to retire and she and her husband are moving 5 hours away! We had a party for her today after mass and I kept my composure untill she wanted pictured with all of us. I waited till the very to have my picture taken as I knew I was going to cry. Well we got our picture taken and I was fine till she hugged my and SHE started crying..."Megan I will not say goodbye to you, but I will see you later" She then invited me up to her "Cabin in the woods" and I know as sure as I am sitting her that I will be going up sometime this coming spring.
